Waterfront office space, housing and hotels, as well as commercial and social infrastructure, will all be included in the winning scheme, dubbed “Upstream.” As the project’s tagline - “the balanced City” - suggests, the IFC hopes to become a vibrant cityscape of business, culture, work and life.
According to the competition rules and regulations the winning team will aid the implementation of the masterplan with respect to preparation of the urban planning documentation (Proyekt Planirovki) and development of the design code.
The competition's conclusion was announced by Rublyovo-Arkhangelskoye CJSC, part of the Sberbank Russia Group of companies.
